Today, Microsoft announced the immediate release of a Windows Home Server v2 codename "Vail" beta. The next generation of Windows Home Server is built on Windows Server 2008 R2 and is 64-bit only. Vail includes feature improvements in four main areas:

• Extending media streaming outside the home or office
• Multi-PC backup and restore
• Simplified setup and user experience
• Expanded development and customization tools for partners

Today sees the release of Treben Media v2.0.0. Treben Media v2.0.0 features a fresh new template built from scratch for increased readability, decreased page load times and search engine optimization. We've had a long run of light colored styles so for version 2 we decided to do a dark layout.

Google has just introduced a new tool for webmasters that measures their website's performance. This comes at a time when it is expected that Google will begin factoring a website's performance into their search algorithm shortly. This means that faster websites will tend to show up at the top of the search results page more often.

For now, you can access this tool by logging in to Google's Webmaster Tools and clicking on Labs, then Site Performance. You will then be greeted by a Site Performance Overview...
